At Mevara, we are committed to delivering high-quality interior design, renovation, and construction services. This Refund Policy outlines your rights and our responsibilities in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. Services We Provide

Because our services are tailored, personalised, and often delivered in phases, our refund policy is based on the stage of work and the nature of your project.
2. Change of Mind
Due to the custom nature of our work, refunds are not available for change-of-mind once a project has commenced or after the design phase is approved.
If you wish to cancel a service before work has begun or before designs have been finalised, a partial refund may be available minus any costs incurred for consultations, site visits, or preparation work.
3. Faulty, Incomplete or Unsatisfactory Work
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy if:

The service is not delivered with due care and skill

The service is not fit for its intended purpose

The service does not match the agreed specifications
If this occurs, we will work with you to rectify the issue, which may include:

Re-performing the service

Providing a refund for the defective portion of the work

Offering a price reduction where appropriate
Please notify us in writing within 7 days of identifying any issues, including supporting evidence such as photographs or reports.
4. Deposits and Progress Payments
In most cases, we require a deposit and staged progress payments throughout the project lifecycle.

Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been ordered or design work has commenced.

If you cancel the project mid-way, any work already completed will be deducted from any remaining balance, and additional charges may apply based on contract terms.
5. Materials and Third-Party Products
If a refund or return is requested due to faulty materials or third-party products supplied through us:

We will follow up with the manufacturer/supplier on your behalf

Refunds or replacements are subject to their warranty and return policies

We will assist in arranging appropriate remedies as part of our service commitment

If you are not satisfied with how a refund or issue has been handled, we encourage you to first contact us directly. We aim to resolve all concerns professionally and fairly.
